Ultra charming flavors from the historic, family-owned Del Barba Vineyard – one of the world’s last remaining dry-farmed, own-rooted, century-plus vineyards. 140-year-old vines persist in gorgeous sand amidst the urban sprawl of Contra Costa County. Kevin Farrow and Erik Latshaw, the young winemakers at Filaments, handle the fruit with reverent minimalism for a classic and intense Mourvèdre.

Tasting Notes: Blackberry, mulberry, and dried cherry lead with hints of licorice, leather, and cured meat. Medium body and fine, sandy tannins ride over a dusty, stony core. Subtle tea leaf, cocoa, and dried herb notes unfurl into a savory, persistent finish.
