France (Chablis, Burgundy)

The primary and most famous region for Chablis production, located in the northern part of Burgundy. The wines from this region are known for their high acidity, minerality, and a distinct lack of oak influence, especially in the Petit Chablis and Chablis AOP classifications. Premier Cru and Grand Cru Chablis are more complex, often with more depth and occasionally subtle oak influence.
