Instructions:

  2. Assemble the Pizza: Spread the crushed tomatoes over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust. Distribute the fresh mozzarella slices evenly over the tomato sauce. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
  3. Bake: Carefully transfer the assembled pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet. Bake for about 8-10 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and starting to brown.
  4. Finish and Serve: Remove the pizza from the oven and immediately drizzle with extra-virgin olive oil. Scatter fresh basil leaves over the top. Slice and serve hot.
